1st off TYVM for the vid :D….really helpful…I did notice that Apple is such a rat that if u read the TOS for some of their apps or features…it is actually saving data sampling such as for Siri (and AppleGod knows what others) interactions on your phone's storage…does this actually make the others balloon up which explains why your others cannot be fixed by simple cache clear (or at least Apple is not trying to fix it for its data mining value)…funny thing is at least Apple politely asks you to auto share this cached data from time to time if you feel so inclined to say…yes…or you did not bother to read trough the TOS…etc.

I'm not familiar with iPhones but I want to ask a question.. what is the benefit of having 256 GB iPhone storage if I can't access it from anywhere?? I mean you can see specific kinds of files like media files, but can't reach other files (like PSD, CDR, DWG, AI, ZIP, …) you store in internal iPhone storage!!!

I'm a die hard android user but I do love my iPad. I would consider a stint with an iPhone but not until they allow YouTube to play in a minimized window. That's a major deal breaker and a massive advantage for Android.

My biggest problem with the iPhone storage is the "Other Storage" category. I wish I could set a limit on how much space was available for "Other", or at least, an option to reserve 2 or 3 gigs for upgrade files.

When I had an android phone I genuinely hated having a phone storage and an SD storage, it just became confusing, I prefer one general storage. With all my devices including my cameras I always transfer to either my computer or external hard drive, I don't think phones are designed to 'archive' / store photographs IMO
